Electronically Challenged?

I tend not to think of myself as electrically challenged... however, I have been taking pictures on my cell phone for almost two years and I just know learned how to get them from the phone to the computer.  I think that might make me challenged.  Here some of those photos:

Time to catch up, Part 3

In December we found out that Jason got a Family Practice Residency at the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.   It was our second choice, but Jason did receive a three year contract instead of a one year, which is awesome!
We recently went house hunting and found an amazing house.  It is located just south of Jacksonville in Orange Park, in a neighborhood called Oak Leaf Plantation .  It's a 4 bedroom, 3 bath house.  I knew as soon as we walked in that this was the house for us.

If all goes according to plan we will be moving the week after Jason's graduation.
We will be sad to say good-bye to Harrogate, but we are ready to begin the next part of our adventure.

Time to catch up, part 2

Gavin's Baby dedication was on January 16, 2011.  We had his dedication the same weekend as his birthday party so that our family would be in town. He was dedicated at Pump Springs Baptist Church,  Pastor Scott Cannon did the dedication.
While we were on stage Scott asked us if we promised to raise Gavin in church and in a manner that would bring him to one day accept Christ as his Savior.  He then asked the church if they promised to love and pray for us.  After that he asked our friends and family to join him in praying for us.

It is such a blessing to know that we have people who are praying everyday for our little family.  God has truly blessed us with an amazing family and an incredible church family, I am so thankful for all of them.   Jason and I will continue to pray everyday for Gavin's Salvation.
Gavin loves Scott!'

Time to catch up... Part 1

Well a lot has happened since the last post.  Two of the biggest things are: Gavin turned 1, and Jason turned 30.
Gavin had an amazing birthday!  We had lots of family come into town and we had lots of friends come party with us.
Gaivn's birthday party theme was vintage Fisher-Price.
This is the cake that I made.  (It is supposed to look like the stacked rings)
He got lots of gifts from lots of GREAT people.

He had a great time with all of his friends

He loved eating his cake... Face first!

It was a great day.  After we cleaned up his party we headed over to the roller skating rink for Jason's "surprise" Party.  (He accidentally found out about it about a week before)
It was an 80's themed roller skating party.  We have some great friends who came looking like this for the party!

Jason was blown away by everyone who came out.  It was a great time.
